Ceramic balls for sale
We offer a comprehensive selection of ceramic balls, ranging from ruby balls to aluminium oxide, so pick the right material, size and grade, and we will produce the ceramic bearing balls you need.
Ceramic bearings are generally extremely resistant to corrosion and require very little lubrication in systems like vehicle engines and gears. They also generally have very high resistance to temperatures, and can handle acidic and alkaline environments.
These properties make industrial ceramic balls popular with flow valves in chemical systems, all kinds of pumps that need to operate in extreme environments, with water treatment and they are also used more broadly as special bearings where performance is absolutely key.
Choose from a wide range of ceramic balls
Our technicians can manufacture balls from the following materials: aluminium oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon nitride, silicon carbide, monocrystalline aluminum oxide (ruby balls), and high purity monocrystalline aluminum oxide (sapphire balls).
Each material will have slightly different characteristics. For instance, sapphire balls are transparent and are among the most corrosion resistant, although ruby balls are almost as strong in extreme environments.
Silicon nitride (Si3N4) balls have superior mechanical properties, and are often preferred for use in vehicle components. On the other hand, zirconium oxide (ZrO2) has the property of hardening after collisions, so are often chosen for milling and grinding tasks.
Our ceramic balls can be delivered in the material of your choice, and across a wide size range, too. So make the right choice and our team will be happy to fulfil your order.
