Hollow plastic balls - PTFE, PVDF, HDPE, LDPE
Applications
|
---|
Hollow plastic balls are used as floating elements, they help to strongly reduce evaporation of liquids and emission of unwished steam. They are frequently used even as decorative elements and cosmetic rollon.

More info
Balls in Polytetrafluoroethylene, PolyVinyliDene Fluoride, High and low density Polyethylene
Hollow plastic balls are durable, corrosion-resistant and resilient. Precision hollow balls are made of high-density polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon® (PTFE) or heat-resistant polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). Those made from high and low-density polypropylene (HDPE and LDPE) are recommended for outdoor applications while polypropylene (PP) hollow plastic balls for industrial use are corrosion resistant. PVDF or PTFE performance plastic balls are advised for high-temperature applications.
Used in industry, manufacturing and the cosmetic sectors, hollow plastic balls offer a versatile solution in numerous settings. For example, plastic floating balls made from high-density polyethylene are ideal for outdoor use where they can be utilized as floating elements to reduce evaporation of liquids or control steam emissions while large hollow plastic spheres can create an effective thermal barrier. Balls of all sizes are widely used as decorative items for the home or garden and smaller sizes are used in the cosmetic sector for products with rollerballs.
