HIGH CARBON STEEL BALLS AISI 1045/1085 (C45-C85)
Balls made of this kind of material offer the advantage of a through hardness and consequently higher wear and load resistance compared to normal case-hardened carbon balls.
In addition, high-carbon steel balls are cheaper than UNI 100 C6 chrome balls and are perfectly suitable for various industrial applications which do not need the use of higher cost chrome balls.
The most common applications include bicycle accessories, ball bearings for furniture, sliding guides, hardware and furniture fittings, conveyor rollers, high load carrying capacity wheels, ball bearings in general.
Diameters: from mm 0,4 to mm 50
Precision grades: ISO 3290 G40-100-200-AFBMA G500/G1000
Equivalent materials to international standards: AISI 1045/1060/1070/1075/1085 - B.S. EN-8 EN-9 - W 1.0616
